Wrong Way

Carlos Gonzales: “This is a project I did for my found footage class at UCSC (Fall 17′) against drunk driving using mass media related sources. Each year there are over 10,000 deaths related to drunk driving, which is nearly one-third of all related car crashes. Yet there are many people who drive drunk and avoid being a factor into these statistics. My hope is that this short film can shed light on the hard truth to someone who thinks “a few beers” or “not driving far” while under the influence of alcohol is dangerous and can be fatal.”

Alcohol as a beauty product

New wave of Alcohol? Know your limits. (Alkohol? Kenn dein Limit. Germany, October 2017).

“Alcohol as a beauty aid: Whether for skin, hair or even jewellery, alcohol has versatile application possibilities in the domestic bathroom. For example, vodka clarifies the skin, beer lets the hair shine and silver jewellery is freed from dirt residues.
Alcohol can also make beautiful – if you apply it externally.”

“The challenges kids and families face today are complex and have the potential to devastate lives and derail futures. It is extremely important to work together to protect the kids in our community. The average age a kid will first try drugs is 13. Studies indicate that people who reach 21 without engaging in destructive behaviors are likely to never do so, which is why we passionately educate about current trends, warning signs, and the long-term impact of destructive behaviors. We believe proactive prevention on the part of kids, families, and communities is the answer to long-term success.”

“Every kid will have the knowledge and confidence to reach their full potential through making positive life choices.”
